Parts Therapy
Have you ever felt pulled in two directions at once? Part of you wants to move forward, take the leap, say yes — and another part holds back, keeps you small, or talks you out of it before you've even begun. Perhaps there's a part of you that people-pleases while another quietly resents it. A part that longs for connection but another that pushes people away to stay safe. These aren't contradictions or character flaws — they are parts of you, each with their own story, their own fear, and their own way of trying to protect you.
When these parts are in conflict, or when one part is running the show in ways that no longer serve you, life can feel exhausting, confusing, or like you're constantly getting in your own way. You might struggle to make decisions, find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships or work, feel a persistent sense of shame or self-criticism, or notice that your reactions sometimes surprise even you.
Parts therapy invites you to turn towards these inner voices with curiosity rather than frustration. When we understand what each part is carrying — the wound underneath the behaviour, the fear beneath the pattern — real and lasting change becomes possible. Rather than fighting yourself, you begin to integrate. The inner conflict softens. You move through life with greater clarity, self-trust, and a sense of wholeness that comes from all of you being on the same team.
The shifts that come from this work can be quietly life-changing — greater self-compassion, healthier boundaries, more authentic relationships, freedom from patterns that have followed you for years, and a deeper sense of knowing and trusting yourself.
In a session, we begin with a gentle counselling check-in to explore what's present and where the tension or conflict is being felt. From there, we move into the deeper work — meeting the parts of you that are ready to be heard, understood, and healed. Using a blend of counselling, intuitive energy healing, and inner child work where needed, we work with these parts at both a conscious and subconscious level, releasing the energy and emotion they have been holding so they no longer need to protect you in ways that hold you back. Each session is guided by what emerges for you and is entirely your own.
